Known as the Eden of the southern coast of South Africa, Wilderness is set between the Kaaimans River and the Goukama Nature Reserve, at the foot of the Outeniqua Mountains. Renowned for its tranquil sea and beaches, Wilderness is also surrounded by many rivers and natural lakes and lagoons, making it a great destination for water-sports.
Wilderness is home to many types of wildlife, in particular birds, making it ideal for bird-watchers. Other local activities include dolphin and whale-watching, hang-gliding, paragliding, horse-riding, mountain-biking, hiking, scenic drives, angling, boating and other water-sports.
The small village also has a newly built shopping area designed around the existing milkwood forest. This provides restaurants, shops and a lively Friday night craft market. Up the hill, the famous Map of Africa viewpoint offers fantastic views of the Kaaimans River Valley and a virtually unrivalled ocean vista.

Cancellation conditions
If cancelled up to 28 days before date of arrival, 5 percent of all nights will be charged. If cancelled up to 22 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 75 percent of all nights will be charged.
If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.
Preauthorize
The hotel reserves the right to pre-authorise credit cards prior to arrival.
Children and Extra Bed Policy
All children are welcome. There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
Deposit Policy
50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is partially refundable.
VAT and city/tourist taxes
14 % VAT is included. Service charge is not applicable.
1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included.

Wireless internet is available in public areas and is free of charge.

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate.
